From uncovering the next clinical breakthrough, to rapid and reliable sample analysis, to more rigorous decision making—we are enabling clinicians to deliver the best possible care to their patients with improved efficiency, clinical confidence, adaptive collaboration, and accelerated intelligence.The Staff Database Administrator for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing the enterprise Global ERP application Oracle EBS and enterprise Oracle databases.This position reports to the Senior Manager Database and Middleware Administration and is part of the Enterprise Database Administration team working remotely to cover global business needs. Database Administration: Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle EBS applications and databases. Monitor and optimize database performance, perform backups, restores, and recovery procedures.
Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, develop and implement policies, mentor junior DBAs, and manage incident and change processes.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Utilize monitoring tools to identify and address potential issues, resolve technical problems, and develop automation scripts.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): Design, implement, and manage Oracle EBS environments on OCI. Migrate on-premises databases to OCI and optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain documentation for all database configurations, procedures, and policies, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 8+ years of experience.
Long-standing experience in Oracle EBS database administration.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Exadata Cloud Service, ASM, RMAN, and OCI.
Proven experience in operations management.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification preferred.
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
