- Works collaboratively across product lines and department boundaries to enable performance engineering and shift left nonfunctional testing through automated load, stress & soak testing.
- Understands peak load scenarios and drives test automation with auto scale and detailed reporting on the same.
- Ability to analyze outputs to provide optimal time bound assessment window to couple with CI CD pipelines and shift left most repetitive tasks.
- Understands microservice architectures and provide optimal key measures at correct service levels.
- Has the ability to provide a detailed report on all test cycles with detailed prognosis and provide recommendations by collaborating across functions like engineering, architecture DevOps.
- Aide and help bring in Observability and SRE foundations in close collaboration with functions leading these initiatives.
- You have 5-8 years of relevant experience with proficiency APM performance engineering tools like LoadUI, LoadRunner & APM tools AppDynamics, New Relic, Splunk or plain ELK Stack
- Basic awareness of one or more of the following: Java with JMeter, .NET, PHP, Node.js, Python, XML
- Experience on any containerized technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift)
- Knowledge of web-application design, web services, and common service frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux
- Experience troubleshooting and solving software performance related issues
- Review middleware, frontend & data needs and provide benchmarking services for new components and point out bottlenecks on release versions
- Create health rules, alerts, and policies
- Import and customize dashboards templates for tech leadership and management review
- Explore, test, and configure not just technical flows but actual business transaction and provide deep insights
- Help in troubleshooting performance issues using user journeys, usage tracking and heat maps, snapshots, metrics, diagnostics provided by APM tools.
- Drive and promote quality culture within and outside QE
- Demonstrate IBCB PE as model team to adoption of PE across other areas of the business unit
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
