- Responsible for preparation and review of technical arrangement drawings for Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) as per railway electrification standards like RDSO, BIS, BS etc. Ensure accurate representation of masts, portals, cantilevers, wiring, and related components.
- Develop detailed Arrangements such as OHE supported on masts, Overlap and crossover OHE arrangements, portal uprights and boom combination, mounting of drop-arms, mounting of Auxiliary Transformer on OHE structures, Bracket attachment on OHE structures, AEW/ Feeder suspension arrangements on OHE structures, Anchor, Termination, Guide tube and ATD arrangement on OHE structures, Dropper distribution arrangement etc. while keeping focus on compliance, safety, and project requirements. Software proficiency: AutoCAD.
- Detailed design of Overhead Equipment (OHE) layout plans following railway electrification standards (RDSO, ACTM, RITES etc.) and project specifications. Layout Plan comprises precise positioning of masts, portals, wiring, obligatory and terminations etc. while referring inputs like track alignment, signals positions, span lengths and available clearances etc.
- Structure Erection Drawing comprises cantilever type and dimensions with Encumbrances, termination styles, attachment fittings, mounting styles etc. Collaborate with alignment, survey, and site teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Focus on safety, reliability, and compliance with standards. Provide technical support during execution as per requirement. Software proficiency: AutoCAD
- Perform accurate quantity estimation for materials and components required for railway electrification projects. Conduct detailed surveys and measurements to validate designs and ensure feasibility. Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates while adhering to project specifications and standards. Coordinate with design, alignment, and site teams to verify and update quantities as needed. Proficient in tools like Excel, AutoCAD etc. Focus on precision, efficiency, and cost optimization
