Role Overview:We are looking for a Senior Video Editor who can own video requirements end to end and act as the primary coordination layer across teams.This is a hands-on execution + coordination role, where the individual is responsible for editing videos, coordinating shoots, managing work across editors, maintaining task trackers, and ensuring that only final, reviewed videos are shared with leadership.The ideal candidate is organised, reliable, proactive, and capable of managing video delivery smoothly across multiple teams without constant follow-ups.Key Responsibilities:1. Video Editing & Execution- Edit videos for social media reels, ad creatives, and internal learning content.- Ensure videos meet quality, branding, and content standards.- Add subtitles, music, motion elements, and maintain clean pacing.2. Shoot Coordination & Camera Work- Handle or assist with basic shoots for social media content, ad reels, and interviews.- Manage camera setup, framing, lighting, and audio.- Coordinate with internal teams, students, or alumni for shoot scheduling.3. Cross-Team Coordination & Ownership- Act as the single point of coordination for all video requirements.- Work closely with marketing, content, growth, and other teams on briefs and priorities.- Assign tasks to video editors, track progress, and review outputs.- Provide clear feedback and ensure only final, approved videos reach leadership.4. Task Tracking & Process Management- Create and maintain video task trackers using Google Sheets, Notion, or similar tools.- Track requests, ownership, timelines, and delivery status.- Proactively flag delays or issues and ensure smooth execution.5. Quality Control- Maintain consistency in video quality, subtitles, audio levels, and visual style.- Follow a quality checklist before final submission.Qualifications & Skills- 4-6 years of professional video editing experience.- Experience editing short-form content such as social media reels and ads.- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, text animations, transitions, and video enhancements.- Comfortable with camera handling, interview setups, lighting, and audio.- Strong organisational, coordination, and follow-up skills.- Clear communication and ability to work with multiple teams.- Willingness to work from office on all working days.- Preferably owns a high-performance laptop for video editing, though this is optional.
