- Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific QMS in compliance with ISO 9001, API Q1/Q2, or equivalent.
- Ensure all QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and checklists are current, relevant, and project-specific.
- Promote a quality culture across all disciplines and stakeholders.
- Prepare Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other QA/QC documentation.
- Ensure quality requirements are properly communicated to all subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams.
- Participate in project kick-off and pre-inspection meetings to align quality expectations.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of QA/QC Engineers, Inspectors, and Technicians.
- Monitor welding, NDT, coating, mechanical, civil, and E&I inspection activities.
- Ensure that inspection records are maintained and meet traceability requirements.
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits (supplier audits, site audits).
- Identify non-conformities and drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Track NCRs and ensure timely closeout with corrective actions implemented.
- Evaluate and approve vendor and subcontractor QA/QC plans and procedures.
- Conduct surveillance visits and factory acceptance testing (FAT).
- Verify material certification, traceability, and conformity with specifications.
- Maintain quality records including WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, material test certificates (MTCs), calibration records, etc.
- Prepare and submit quality reports to management and clients (weekly/monthly/close-out reports).
- Support document control in maintaining up-to-date QA/QC documentation.
- Serve as primary point of contact with client QA/QC representatives.
- Support regulatory inspections and compliance requirements (e.g., OSHA, ADNOC, ARAMCO, etc.).
- Facilitate client inspections and third-party witness points.
- Mentor QA/QC team members and ensure proper training and qualification.
- Foster team collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with construction, HSE, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
