Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Specialist/Supervisor to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Gurugram/ Gurgaon – India.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads a team of Electrical Engineers, Designers and CAD personnel in the successful execution of electrical engineering and design within budget and on schedule
Provides technical leadership and guidance for the electrical team
Mentor engineers-in-training and designers
Prepare and check calculations as required
Prepare electrical equipment specification packages, Datasheets, SoW, TBA etc
Check vendor drawings and data for compliance with specifications
Prepares detailed design, supply, construction and installation specifications
Develop conceptual designs, studies, reports and proposals
Ensures effective communication within project teams and with client engineers
Track project metrics
Report to Area Project Engineering Manager for project issues and to the overall Electrical Lead for functional issues
Visit project sites and other Hatch design offices for project related activities as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Senior Engineer with 15 plus years of relevant experience – preferably in an EPCM environment for industrial projects, experience in large-scale M & M projects experience shall be added advantage.
Engineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer with the P.E.O or another Australian / Canadian Professional Engineering Association
Sound Knowledge of industry, regulatory codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI etc). Experience to Australian codes & standards shall be added advantage.
Proficient with the electrical software: ETAP, SKM. Understanding of COMOS / SPEL will be added advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multi disciplinary teams
Good oral and written communication skills
Advanced computer skills
