About the Role Position Title: Manager/ Assistant Vice President Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President Internal Title: Manager / Assistant Vice President Reporting to: Vice President Location: Bangalore Job Profile: Purpose of Role: This role is within the Secretarial and Legal function of the company. The person will be appointed to assist the Legal Head and of the company in various legal matters of the company. The person will draft and manage legal documents, oversee all legal aspects of our business and offer guidance and advice to management. Job Responsibilities: Provide legal support and advice to management on relevant legal issues Provide legal support and advice to business and support functions for various day to day operational matters Drafting, Reviewing and vetting of various contractual documents, like Inter Affiliate Agreement(IAA), Vendor Contracts, SOWs, Addendums, NDA etc. Draft and continually review various standard templates of contracts, NDA to ensure compliance with local regulations as well as company standard templates Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations and other formalities Handle litigation, as and when required. Keep up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company's legal function Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in law and prior experience as part of in house legal team; Minimum of 8 to 10 years of work experience, preferably in MNC organizations involved in Financial Services or IT/ITES business; Detail-oriented and organized execution; Good organisational, prioritization and time-management skills Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word) Capable to multi task and meet timelines.
