Job Description: About This Role The role is accountable for ensuring that our technical deliveries realise Business Value. The role is accountable for multiple complex small to medium sized design deliveries or a single large technical design delivery. The roleholder will coach and mentor a multi-discipline team. The role ensures that the scope of delivery is understood, that the technical solution meets the business need and that plans are comprehensive and are achieved. The working domain for the role holder is in the Monitoring space for Global where technical design and delivery of solutions on Monitoring and Assurance toolsets needs to be managed realising Business Value and Outcomes. The role holder will be responsible for delivering efficient solutions in an agile fashion, setting and managing right expectations at different levels including clients and internal stakeholders with a vision towards long term relationships. You'll Have The Following Responsibilities Role implements the defined solution for the Assurance Area for the following: o Fault Management o Resource Management o Incident Management o Change Management Role involves defining and implementing the roadmap for Transformation of UK and Enterprise Network Monitoiring instances. Experience designing & development in Core Java/J2EE/ JSP and from an Engineering point of view preferred. Manage, Engineer, Architect, Develop and Maintain applications in Network Management, OSS and FCAPS space. Skilled in life cycle management of OSS tools/solutions including requirements analysis, platform selection, technical architecture design, application design & development, testing and deployment. Knowledge in monitoring of IP MPLS, Ethernet, Multicast and Voice Networks via various industry standard protocols like snmp, netflow and syslog. Seasoned in project management activities - Project scoping, resource planning, scheduling and tracking. Implement governance and controls to monitor and manage consumption and compliance with security and other standards. Expert in building team, training new team members, providing performance feedbacks and quality improvement initiatives. Work with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and implement features based on service line demand, industry trends, known defects, and issues. Work with solution design peers in the other spaces Network Edge, IT OSS and other operational teams and define implementation roadmap and scope sprints to deliver faster business outcomes working across the teams. Build internal, external and third-party supplier relationships to ensure full commitment and support in execution of the design. Set and manage right expectations at different levels including clients and internal stakeholders with a vision towards long term relationships Knowledge to deliver in Agile Methodologies. Liaises with CFU and customer stakeholders, ensuring business needs are met through assurance of the design. Strategic / Enterprise Perspective: Able to create and articulate a compelling holistic strategic vision and roadmap to both colleagues and external contractors. This may require an ability to articulate complex information to colleagues working outside the technical space. Change Management: Able to create and sustain successful large scale and complex business change. An expert in change management. Process design & documentation: The ability to describe, map and document down to the procedural detail complete processes on a structured way. The ability to organise and structure the process flow in synchronisation with the exchanges with other processes. Agile Practitioner: Practices agile techniques to help internal & external team respond to both continued and rapid change; using high levels of experience and skill in agile approaches to foster an agile mindset within the team. Made decisions in ambiguous situations using incomplete information or differing opinions (eg divided team loyalties or unclear deliverables). Aligned project plans and objectives with strategy and values Actively participated in strategy setting sessions To suit the needs of a customer, colleague or client; moved outside of expected process or practice Delivered multiple complex projects in Agile fashion
