Job descriptionJOB DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATIONDESIGNATION : Outlet Restaurant ManagerREPORTING TO: Area ManagerSECTION KitchenDEPARTMENT Food And BeverageADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIESTo approve leaves of the team membersTo prepare duty roster of the team members of restaurantTo conduct the training for team members as per the training calendarTo conduct performance appraisal of the team membersTo work out increments, promotions, transfers etc of the employeesJOBSPECIFICATIONFUNCTIONAL JOB DESCRISPTIONTo prepare the long-term plan of managing the restaurantTo plan and prepare the calendar for various events and festivalsTo coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operationsTo deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfactionTo respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaintsTo regularly review product quality and research new vendorsOrganize and supervise shiftsAppraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivityEstimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning productsManage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve itControl operational costs and identify measures to cut wasteCreate detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expensesTo conduct the survey of similar restaurants for continual betterment in terms of revenueTo decide the advertisement and publicity plans for promotion of restaurantTo track the ratings of the restaurant on various web portals viz Trip Advisor and to implement the measures for improving the sameTo work out the rate contracts with corporate customersTo maintain the inventory of all the items of the restaurant and to report shortageor loss of the items if anyTo take feedback about customer satisfaction levels and to compile the guesthistory regarding their preferences, special requirements etcTo comply with all health and safety regulationsoverseeing daily operations, customer service, staff work schedules, cashiering, food supplies, maintenance and administrative operations.
