
Assistant Program Director - Government Partnerships

- Build strong relationships with government officers at the UP and other departments
- Foster relationships with government officials and other partners to secure buy-in for projects in line with the mission
- Work closely with technical teams to develop data-informed, testable hypotheses to solve the identified problems
- Oversee the implementation of quantitative and qualitative research as required
- End-to-end project management of the piloting of solutions at the field level
- Draft high-quality written documents and presentations to synthesize findings
- Masters degree in economics, Management, Public Policy or related disciplines
- At least six years of overall work experience with social sector consultancies, multilaterals or governments; with at least three years of experience of working directly with government institutions and officials (state and/or central level)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience of formulating testable hypotheses around ambiguous problems, and ideate practical solutions grounded in clear data and evidence
- Ability to build and manage relations with government stakeholders
- Ability to deliver quality outputs on time
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Hindi
- Proficient at quantitative data analysis and interpretation
- Experienced in developing compelling decks, narratives and memos
