Job Description Job Summary The SAP ERP FICO Analyst is a SAP Supporting role. The ERP Analyst is a functional specialist in the SAP core area of FICO. In addition to SAP support responsibilities and others as assigned, the SAP ERP Analyst is also responsible for coordination, execution and delivery quality of FICO modular activities across multiple systems, regions and sites! In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Carrying out Production support for the Global SAP ERP Instance for Emerson internal Business users and requires experienced skills in Support, Problem resolution, Investigation and Communication with Customers The SAP ERP FICO Analyst is a senior SAP Supporting role. The ERP Analyst is a functional specialist in the SAP core area of FICO. In addition to SAP support responsibilities and others as assigned, the SAP ERP Analyst is also responsible for coordination, execution and delivery quality of FICO modular activities across multiple systems, regions and sites Coordinating with a team of internal functional specialists on both the Emerson Run Support Team and the Emerson Change Team as well as third parties, the SAP ERP Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the work of the workstream are performed completely and with the right level of quality, as well as ensuring that the workstream integrates and coordinates with other workstreams in the delivery of Support activities. The SAP ERP Analyst will need to work with internal and/or external resources to handle issues and gaps in interface functionality, SAP FICO configuration and user exits The Sr. FICO Analyst will be responsible to learn the FICO designs in all the Emerson Automation Solutions SAP Systems and recommend/drive improvement and design standardization opportunities that result in a lower support complexity This role will act as a contributor for FICO related RUN/Support projects, automation and related change. Responsibilities : Responsible for oversight and execution of SAP FICO bug fix & minor enhancement implementation Participate in weekly FICO meetings with internal & external counterparts Audit processes performed by third parties to ensure compliance to Emerson standards Oversee, Design and implement SAP FICO configuration & customizing in Emerson Automation Solutions SAP Systems Represent FICO in Partner/Relationship meetings Review all FICO Functional Specifications created by third parties & change team Receive Knowledge Transfer from the change team Oversee and complete ticket resolution, change delivery and release delivery within the Emerson Automation Solutions Run Support Team Provides functional/technical expertise in the SAP FICO module. SAP Configuration proficiency in given system module. Able to solve complex SAP technical issues. Strong SAP integration knowledge with PP, MM, SD and VC modules Translates business requirements into detailed technical/functional specifications Collaborates and communicates with ABAP, Basis, Security and other relevant teams to ensure proper planning, development and execution of all work Collaborates and communicates with Business teams to optimize solution delivery and scheduling. Ensures that new business processes/business requirements are documented qualitatively and that they are validated with the expectations of the customer Oversight and execution of workstream activities primarily for RUN Support and minor enhancements across multiple systems. Ensure that workstream activities are progressing according to plan, and ensure delays and issues are identified and mitigating actions taken Oversee & implement system testing & regression testing as required Serve as the customer concern point for RUN FICO issues for business users as well as internal & external FICO counterparts Carries out all activities following Emerson processes, policies and procedures Must be ready to work in Shifts Who You Are: You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations; are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You pursue everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish For This Role, You Will Need: demonstrated ability 6-8 years in SAP ERP, at least 5 + years' experience in FICO domain Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience A minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience in SAP or above Experience with coordinating with multiple internal staff and consultants concurrently. Experience working in a heavily matrixed organization Strong analytical ability, process oriented and ability to handle complexity. Able to work independently against an established set of guidelines Support experience in a global environment including coordination and alignment with multiple stakeholders Proficient utilization of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Exceptional interpersonal skills Experienced in the technical support of interfaces as they relate to FICO (EDI, IDOC processing, Taxware & Tradesphere is preferred) Comprehensive understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG (Implementation Management Guide) Comprehensive understanding of SAP data model in FICO Thorough business understanding of sales & manufacturing processes in a plant environment Comprehensive understanding of SAP architecture Our Offer to You: By joining Emerson, you will be given the opportunity to make a difference through the work you do.
