Role & Responsibilities Understanding R&D and focus on employee performance & productivity and employee commitment to enhance business results on a sustainable basis though: Principal Accountabilities: • Implement Performance Management Processes o Goal setting for employees o Performance Feedback process o Consequence Management of performance • Talent Development o Classification of talent basis performance & potential o Identification of high performance talent o Creating development plans for high performers o Ring –fencing and retention of high potential & high performers • Capability Building o Implementation of development plans o Measuring effectiveness of development plans execution o Linking development objectives to business delivery • Resourcing Talent o Identifying talent needs in a proactive manner o Mapping of talent externally o Sourcing of talent to meet current & future business needs • Driving Employee Commitment o Work towards building a great place to work by objectively enhancing employee commitment o Focus on creating a culture of respect, pride in the job, fairness & camaraderie o Implementing regular process of rewards & recognition across levels o Continual connect with employees to proactively address employee issues • Ensuring Employee Discipline o Continual communication on employee discipline o Taking appropriate action as required to ensure employee discipline at workplace o Building a culture of good work ethics • Employee Productivity Management o Focus in continuously improving productivity in employee costs o Ensuring that employee costs are within budget o Monitoring and acting upon employee costs on a regular basis
