- Educate customers and partners on the Forescout modern security landscape.
- Build deep, consultative relationships with the customer, effectively becoming a trusted adviser, to understand the customer's high-level business objectives, and match these to Forescout solutions to satisfy the business and technical requirements.
- Identify problems in customer environments; effectively engages customers at the technical field and technical management levels.
- Comfortable presenting Forescout's value proposition, technologies, strategy, and product roadmaps to all levels including executives, technical management, and technical engineers.
- Provide product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects, either onsite or remotely, in conjunction with the sales team.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities and support technical pre-sales activities to opportunity closure.
- Enable and leverage channel partners and work successfully in a channel-driven sales model.
- Manage the POC staging time to allow for test plan refinement, configuration adjustments, and resolution of any issues or questions that may arise during the testing period.
- Assist to develop optimized proof-of-concept test configurations based on test plans submitted by account teams and available resources.
- Assist customers through the support escalation process.
- Achieve and maintain FSCA and FSCE certification in the selected technology area.
- Maintain expertise in Forescout Continuum Platform and extended module technology areas through technical training.
- 8+ years IT industry experience, and ideally 5+ years in a Pre-Sales role.
- The motivation and the desire to work with Security Solutions, whilst enjoying hands-on testing, and customer interaction.
- Extensive hands-on lab work, excellent presentation and writing skills, the ability to travel, and customer awareness skills.
- The ability to work with distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner.
- A self-motivated learner and builder with strong customer focus and with quality.
- Experience taking requirements and incorporating best practices to provide the optimum user experience.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
