
Software Engineer - ROR (Remote - India)

- Designing and building scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications.
- Taking end-to-end ownership of product features, from architecture to deployment and maintenance.
- Translating requirements, designs, and wireframes into clean, high-quality code.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development.
- Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing their work for quality and efficiency.
- Implementing best practices in coding, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- At least 3 years of production experience with Ruby on Rails and modern web frameworks.
- Proven experience in building scalable/distributed SaaS applications.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON handling, caching, sessions, and multi-threading.
- Proficiency in database schema design with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB).
- Experience developing and integrating APIs (REST and GraphQL).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, software engineering best practices, and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
