We are currently looking for a Software Engineer - ROR in India.As a Software Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails, you will play a central role in designing and developing robust backend systems that power enterprise software and SaaS applications. You will work on high-impact projects, building scalable solutions while collaborating with designers, engineers, product managers, and founders. Designing and building scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications.
Taking end-to-end ownership of product features, from architecture to deployment and maintenance.
Translating requirements, designs, and wireframes into clean, high-quality code.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development.
Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing their work for quality and efficiency.
Implementing best practices in coding, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability.

RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should bring:

At least 3 years of production experience with Ruby on Rails and modern web frameworks.
Proven experience in building scalable/distributed SaaS applications.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON handling, caching, sessions, and multi-threading.
Proficiency in database schema design with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB).
Experience developing and integrating APIs (REST and GraphQL).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, software engineering best practices, and agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and a solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
