- This position works under limited supervision to ensure proper global benefits administration
- Responsible for working with TRISTAR (LOA 3rd Party Administrator for U.S. Leaves) on all U.S. leaves and reviewing and administering all Canadian requests for leave of absences, including analyzing eligibility and providing approval for qualifying leaves
- Oversees and approves the Workday benefit events to ensure timely processing/approving
- Responsible for supporting the annual U.S. open enrollment which includes: managing Workday configuration and testing to ensure a successful go-live
- Work with HRIS on new benefits configuration and problem solve configuration issues
- Works with Payroll and Cigna to ensure H.S.A. accounts are established and funded for employees and identify and solve variance and discrepancies in benefit deductions and contributions
- Works with the benefit CoE team, insurance carriers and TPAs regarding employee benefit plans and leave administration
- Work with vendors on implementing and managing accurate benefit data (i.e., eligibility, file feeds, payroll deductions, enrollment, etc.)
- Manage compliance deadlines (i.e., work with payroll, HRIT and HRIS to collect and arrange nondiscrimination testing data submittal, audit request, pension annual funding notice, Medicare Part D notices, etc.)
- Work with HRIT and vendor on new vendor integrations and required integration changes
- Responsible for working with carriers to help solution and resolve employee and/or dependent claims issues
- Respond and resolve internal employee inquiries related to insurance benefit eligibility, claim issues, plan provisions, and enrollment process
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them
- Effectively communicate with key stake holders (employees, managers, HRBPs, COEs, brokers, HRIT, payroll, vendors/insurance carriers, HRIS, etc.)

- Requires a minimum of 6+ years of Benefits related experience
- Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
