- Provide Level 2 operational support for global LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Center, and Cloud network environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents involving routing, switching, and Wi-Fi technologies.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize multi-vendor network hardware including:
- Cisco Systems
- Juniper Networks
- Extreme Networks
- Dell Technologies
- Administer and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP (eBGP/iBGP) and OSPF.
- Manage switching technologies including VLANs, STP/RSTP, EtherChannel/LACP, VRRP/HSRP.
- Support enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure including controllers, access points, RF optimization, SSIDs, authentication (802.1X), and guest access.
- Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and cloud platforms such as:
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform
- Manage VPNs, ExpressRoute/Interconnect, and cloud routing configurations.
- Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in 24x7 support and on-call rotation as required.
- 5-7 years of experience in Network Operations or Network Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and enterprise Wi-Fi.
- Experience working in multi-vendor network environments.
- Solid understanding of:
- BGP and OSPF
- TCP/IP fundamentals
- VLANs, redundancy protocols
- Wireless standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
- Experience supporting both on-prem data centers and public cloud networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a global operations environment.
- CCNP / JNCIP or equivalent certifications.
- Wireless certifications (e.g., CWNA or vendor-specific).
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible).
- Knowledge of cloud networking constructs (VNet, VPC, NSGs, route tables).
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
