- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammography, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely diagnostic reports to physicians, enabling effective patient management and treatment planning.
- Collaborate closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings, recommend further imaging or tests, and support clinical decision-making.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and maintaining professionalism throughout the diagnostic process.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
- Monitor imaging equipment performance, ensuring proper calibration, functionality, and reporting of any technical issues.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, tumor boards, and clinical meetings as required.
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques, technology, and best practices to continuously improve diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior doctors, radiology technicians, and support staff when required.
- Ensure compliance with medical, ethical, and legal standards in patient care and documentation.
- MBBS degree followed by MD/DNB in Radiology (or equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India or relevant authority).
- 2-6 years of professional experience as a practicing Radiologist in hospitals, diagnostic centers, or clinical settings.
- Proficiency in interpreting a broad spectrum of imaging studies including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and X-rays.
- Strong understanding of radiation protection principles, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
- Excellent analytical, observational, and diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex medical information clearly to physicians, patients, and non-medical staff.
- Proficiency in using radiology software systems, PACS, and digital imaging technologies.
- Strong ethical values, patient-centered approach, and commitment to providing high-quality healthcare.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple cases efficiently.
- Experience working in a multi-specialty hospital or diagnostic chain.
- Exposure to interventional radiology procedures will be an added advantage.
- Active interest in continuous learning, research, and adoption of advanced imaging technologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
