- Operations & Maintenance: Monitor daily operations of mechanical systems (rotating equipment, boilers, turbines) and perform preventive/corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Shutdown Management: Plan and execute annual shutdowns and emergency repairs.
- Team Leadership: Supervise shift engineers, technicians, and contractors, ensuring safety compliance and productivity.
- Efficiency & Reporting: Analyze plant performance, optimize operational costs, and report to senior management.
- Spares Management: Coordinate procurement of mechanical spares and manage inventory.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 6-12 years of experience in operation and maintenance of Captive Power Plants (CPP) or Thermal Power Plants, ideally within a steel or similar manufacturing sector.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of hydraulic systems, turbines, pumps, valves, and troubleshooting in a high-pressure environment.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Role Type: Full-time, often involving rotational shifts.
- Environment: Industrial plant, involving on-field monitoring, maintenance, and coordination with electrical/instrumentation departments.
- Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations.
- Project Management: Support in execution of plant improvements or modifications.
