Job Description This position is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about solving challenging business problems. You will be an integral part of the Payment Products Development team focusing on test automation. The candidate will be extensively involved in hands-on activities including proof of concepts, design, and testing of new and existing functionality. The candidate should demonstrate adaptability and readiness to change tasks according to the team's requirements. Work closely with architects and technical stakeholders to develop and maintain high quality testing frameworks that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology Develop systems and processes to refine efficiency of automated testing solutions Design and execute tests for applications and services Develop and maintain tools for automation tracking and reporting Review product requirements and specifications and recommend improvements to ensure product testability Recommend areas of applications and services where automation would be beneficial Effectively communicate status updates, issues, and potential risks accurately and promptly Perform other tasks related to data governance and system infrastructure, as and when required This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Specialist: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. 2 or more years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications Associate: 2 or more years of work experience Strong knowledge in data structures, algorithms and passion for solving hard problems Experience with implementing test automation at the unit, functional, and integration testing levels Experience in creating and scripting unit level tests for open-source Big Data ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka) Experience writing code in Core Java and SQL Working knowledge of Unix/Linux Experience using frameworks and tools like Junit, Selenium Knowledge of Automated Test-Driven Development or Test-Driven Development (TDD) Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, or similar programs, is highly desired Experience in operating within an Agile framework Demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, strong attention to detail, team oriented, energetic, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer.
