The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in fuel procurement, supplier management, and logistics optimization across large-scale industrial operationsFuel Strategy & PlanningDevelop and execute the long-term strategy for sourcing and managing fuel supply (biomass, coal, alternate fuels) across all operating and upcoming assets.Forecast plant-wise fuel demand and align sourcing, contracts, and delivery mechanisms to ensure uninterrupted supply.Sourcing & Vendor ManagementBuild and maintain a reliable supplier base for coal, biomass, and alternative fuels.Lead contract negotiations and long-term agreements with domestic and international suppliers, traders, and logistics providers.Drive vendor development initiatives to improve supply security, fuel mix flexibility, and cost efficiency.Logistics & OperationsOversee inbound logistics and fuel transportation, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.Implement and manage systems for inventory tracking, storage, quality checks, and fuel blending (if applicable).Identify and implement logistics efficiencies, including bulk movement strategies and multi-modal transport solutions.Risk Management & ComplianceMonitor price trends, market movements, and regulatory changes affecting fuel sourcing and pricing.Develop strategies to mitigate fuel availability risks and manage exposure to price volatility.Ensure all operations comply with applicable environmental, legal, and safety regulations.Team Leadership & Collaboration
