- Define and finalize SKU specifications across assigned product categories, including variants, sizes, formulations, and pricing tiers
- Develop comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market opportunities
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify gaps, trends, and consumer needs
- Own product lifecycle management from ideation through launch to post-market optimization
- Build and maintain detailed product specifications, ensuring alignment with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Create product positioning strategies that differentiate offerings in competitive markets
- Serve as primary liaison with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners
- Coordinate product availability, inventory planning, and distribution logistics
- Negotiate terms and manage relationships with manufacturing partners, OEMs, and private label suppliers
- Monitor supply chain performance and resolve issues affecting product delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards across the supply chain
- Develop and maintain vendor scorecards tracking quality, delivery, and cost metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Product Management, or related field
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- 2+ years of product management experience in consumer goods, FMCG, retail, or related industries
- Proven track record of successful product launches and SKU management
- Experience coordinating with distributors, suppliers, and retail partners
- Strong understanding of distribution channels and go-to-market strategies in the Indian market
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities
- Data-driven decision making with proficiency in market research and competitive analysis
- Detail-oriented with strong execution focus
- Proficiency in product management tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software
- Experience with private label, OEM, or contract manufacturing relationships
- Knowledge of e-commerce and quick commerce channels
