Develop comprehensive electrical site plans, including one-line diagrams, conduit layouts, and wiring schematics.
Assist in the design and drafting of substations, transmission interconnections, and renewable energy infrastructure.
Perform technical analyses such as load calculations, voltage drop assessments, and conduit fill evaluations under the supervision of senior engineers.
Ensure all electrical designs are compliant with utility requirements, NEC, IEEE standards, and applicable codes.
Collaborate with civil, structural, and protection & controls teams to deliver integrated and coordinated site designs.
Support permitting and regulatory approval processes by preparing detailed plan sets and documentation.
Participate in field investigations and site visits to gather data and verify as-built conditions.
Maintain organized project documentation, revision logs, and adhere to CAD standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in electrical site design, preferably for utility-scale projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and/or Civil 3D.
