Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: Accounting&Reporting-GA Frontoffice MgrYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide accounting, reporting, and consolidation expertise. Each day, you will support in accounting and reporting matters to business/reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement preparation and review follow-up on accounting issues. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting in the preparation of financial reports in compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.The work model for the role is:#Li_onsiteThis role is contributing to the Finance function. in Bengaluru.The R2R COA SME will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of operational tasks of the Chart of Accounts (COA) within the CFIN framework. In particular, relating to the COA-related requests. This role requires a good understanding of general accounting practices within ABB and the Chart of Accounts, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with relevant teams, mainly in the Chart of Accounts process.You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Analyze new CFIN COA and Cost Clement requests to ensure compliance with the COA design and other data elements e.g Mov. Types, Doc
  • Analyze new CFIN COA and Cost Clement requests to ensure the compliance with the design of other related er data elements e.g Movement Types, Document Types
  • Analyze new CFIN COA and Cost Clement requests to ensure the ompliance with the CFIN Automated Postings Design
  • Coordinate with requestors and/or with Tax, Statutory, Controlling, O2C, P2P, FP&A, FAO, and Treasury to clarify requirements and align on COA requests. (Depending on the Nature of Requests)
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • Co-ordinate and collaborate in the GL creation process with the FAO MDG-F Team
  • Collaborate in the GL creation process with the FPDS Team regarding the automated assignments or related tasks arising out of COA Requests
  • Provide the SME Approval for the COA Requests.Final Approval will always be the R2R Data Owner
  • Publish Chart of Accounts, ensuring its accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders, and address questions from BAU and Project teams.
