- Business Planning - Align BD objectives with the firm's strategic plan, develop annual practice group plans, track activities, trends, competitors, and expenditures, and collaborate with partners and consultants to maximise opportunities.
- Client Development - Work with partners to identify, target, and develop clients, support client meetings with research and materials, and grow international referral networks.
- Marketing Materials - Create consistent, engaging communication for clients and prospects, develop required marketing collateral, and find innovative ways to promote the firm's services.
- Qualifications - LL.B and/or MBA (both preferred) with at least 15 years' marketing/BD experience in professional services, ideally Tier I law firms.
- Industry Knowledge - Competitive intelligence research skills and interest/background in law and law firm management.
- Communication Skills - Excellent writing ability, interpersonal influence, and a professional, approachable demeanor.
- Strategic & Analytical Ability - Strong judgment, decision-making skills, and advanced understanding of strategic marketing and communications.
