Job Summary :We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead a high-potential Indian medical devices company. Specializing in spinal implants, interventional cardiology, and neurovascular solutions, we are a fast-growing organization poised for significant expansion. The ideal candidate is a people-first leader who will drive top-line growth while fostering a culture of mentorship and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role for an individual passionate about scaling a business and making a tangible impact on healthcare in India and globally.Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive aggressive sales growth and operational excellence across all business units.
  • Commercial Growth: Take full ownership of the P&L and commercial strategy for business volumes exceeding ₹200+ Cr , focusing on both domestic and international markets.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of operations, including supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Market Penetration: Lead efforts to expand market share through a deep understanding of channel sales, establishing and strengthening relationships with key hospital networks and clinical leaders.
  • Global Expansion: Guide the company's expansion into new global markets, navigating diverse business landscapes and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure stringent adherence to complex regulatory frameworks, including US FDA, CE, and CDSCO , maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Team Development: Champion a positive, collaborative work environment, mentoring and nurturing the next generation of leaders within the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 20+ years of progressive leadership experience within the medical devices industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of scaling sales and operations for high-growth companies.
  • Proven experience in managing business operations of ₹200+ Cr and above.
  • Extensive experience with both the Indian and global medical device markets .
  • Deep expertise in channel sales, hospital networks, and clinician relationship management .
  • A leadership style that balances a strong focus on top-line results with a genuine commitment to people development and mentorship.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global regulatory landscapes, particularly US FDA, CE, and CDSCO .
