- Task Setup: Assist in setting up tasks and sub-tasks for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction in consultation with team members.
- Timeline Identification: Identify timelines, interfaces, and interdependencies based on execution mode, contractors, and consultants.
- Master Schedule Development: Develop integrated master schedules in Primavera, capturing all activities, durations, relationships, critical paths, milestones, and overall project duration.
- Progress Tracking: Capture actual execution progress to identify variances from the baseline and problem areas, and circulate information for corrective action.
- Critical Path Monitoring: Monitor the project's critical path based on actual progress and circulate information on new activities included in the critical path.
- Schedule Recovery: Consult with teams to determine alternative actions for recovering slipped schedules and modify schedules accordingly.
- Documentation: Ensure implementation of company systems/processes, including documentation of DPR, WPR, MPR, Reconciliation reports, Quality reports, and Safety reports.
- Report Monitoring: Regularly follow up and monitor reports from teams, collate information, and submit summary reports to the Project Head.
- Project Deliverables: Engage early with teams to identify project deliverables according to the project timetable.
- Communication Matrix: Prepare and circulate a communication matrix.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor actual project progress, assess deliverable status, and circulate deviations for corrective measures.
- Procurement Tracking: Track ordering, purchase, and manufacturing of procurement items for timely supply at the site.
- Documentation Compliance: Understand documentation requirements based on project scope and ensure compliance.
- Interface Management: Understand interfaces among disciplines, contractors, and consultants, and implement appropriate interface management plans.
- Cash Flow Management: Prepare project cash flow requirements, monitor contractor bills, and coordinate with execution, CAD, Finance, and ABEX teams for timely payment processing.
- Change Management: Capture all change requests, apply change management processes to identify schedule and cost impacts, and implement accepted changes.
- Issue Management: Regularly interact with teams to capture and record critical issues and events, present issues to the Project Head, finalize action paths, and monitor implementation of required actions.
- Project Closure: Ensure proper project closure and handover procedures.
- Data Capture: Capture all project progress data, evaluate schedule and cost progress, identify problem areas and critical issues, analyze critical paths and constraints.
- Status Reporting: Develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a planning and control engineer for multi-discipline projects.
- Postgraduate degree in project management from NICMAR or an equivalent institution is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in airport project execution is preferred.
- B.E. (Civil) with first class from a reputed organization.
- Certification in Primavera Project Planner or a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the same profile.
