Optomtrist - Ballari - Karnataka (FOFO)

Responsibilities:

Conduct eye examinations to evaluate visual acuity and diagnose eye conditions.
Perform refractions to determine the appropriate lens prescription.
Utilize retinoscopy to assess the patient's vision and eye coordination.
Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses as needed.
Provide pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the correct usage of prescribed corrective lenses.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Optometry or a related field.
Valid Optometrist license in Karnataka.
Strong knowledge and experience in refraction, retinoscopy, and pharmacology.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients of all ages.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
