- Lead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per Ind AS, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide technical accounting guidance under Ind AS, including assessment, documentation, and implementation of new standards.
- Review accounting treatments, policies, and notes to accounts and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support clients in transitioning to or strengthening Ind AS-based reporting frameworks.
- Oversee group-level consolidation, inter-company eliminations, and validation of financial data across business units.
- Manage end-to-end month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Identify discrepancies, perform reconciliations, and ensure alignment with group accounting policies.
- Drive preparation and review of monthly MIS packs, dashboards, variance analysis, KPIs, and executive summaries.
- Analyze financial/operational data, highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for decision-making.
- Collaborate with client leadership to refine MIS processes and develop enhanced reporting frameworks.
- Act as the primary liaison for statutory auditors, internal auditors, and internal control teams.
- Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and documentation and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
- Support control testing, internal financial controls (IFC), and documentation updates.
- Lead multiple advisory engagements with clear ownership of project plans, timelines, deliverables, and client communication.
- Provide insights on simplifying financial processes, strengthening controls, and improving reporting accuracy.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project success through structured governance.
- Prepare high-quality client deliverables, presentations, and reports.
- Mentor and guide team members, ensuring high-quality outputs and skill development.
- Build trusted client relationships and act as a strategic advisor on reporting and finance matters.
- Ensure adherence to firm methodologies, best practices, and compliance standards.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; candidates with strong finance backgrounds will also be considered.
- 4-8 years of experience in financial reporting, MIS, consolidation, audit support, or advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS and experience applying standards in practical scenarios.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing complex project deliverables.
- Prior consulting/advisory or Big 4 experience is a strong advantage
- Expertise in Ind AS, financial reporting, and consolidation.
- Strong command over MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical review.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite preferred).
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is desirable.
