- Coordinate cross-functional project portfolios across multiple workstreams for various products and processes
- Manage milestones and deliverables through the entire project lifecycle to completion
- Leverage strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills to achieve desired program results
- Track progress across multiple project portfolios and workstreams and provide status reporting
- Maintain project artifacts such as plans, schedules and RAID logs
- Help to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with program goals
- Facilitate meetings, document decisions and follow up on action items
- Assist with analyzing program metrics, identifying issues and recommending improvements
- Serve as communication liaison between technology, workstreams, leadership and other stakeholders
- 5+ years in complex program management within a financial services or operations environment
- Proven ability and experience in implementing large strategic initiatives with significant technology and operational components
- Proficient with project governance tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.), MS Office and collaboration apps
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology & other key stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization
- Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders to ensure decisions are well thought out and can be executed from an operations perspective
- In depth knowledge of Asset Management or Investment management products, services, market instruments and conventions
- Proven ability to concisely explain complex issues with excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to present to senior management
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
- Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- Product knowledge of Investment management product offerings e.g., Equities, Unit Dealing, Mutual Funds, etc.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (such as Agile) and tools (such as Confluence and JIRA)
- Experience leading large programs
- Ability to manage different complex stakeholder map including senior stakeholders in the Operational teams, Lines of Business, Technology, Risk, Legal and Compliance
- Knowledge of the financial ecosystem including trade support, asset servicing, corporate actions, and reconciliations
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and data, articulate complex issues clearly and concisely
- End-to-end project management experience, including scoping, business case development, implementation, results measurement and change management
