Commissioning Engineer

• Responsible for the development & deployment of Solar Scada systems and the programming of PLC's.
• Knowledge of verifying & Modifying the Electrical drawings in terms of SLD and other electrical documents.
• Knowledge of Design Engineering documents like RFQ, FDS, FAT, SAT, Signal List etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct factory acceptance test, site acceptance test and commissioning tests in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
• Good understanding and experience in all IEC standard and substations Protocols like IEC61850, IEC101/104, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, RS485/RS232, OPC UA/DA etc.
• Knowledge of Panel wiring Checks, Termination Checks, End to End data validation.
• Networking knowledge (Design IP Scheme, knowledge of Switches and Firewall configuration)
• Experience in Power Plant Controller and Battery Energy Storage system would be an advantage.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-commissioning checks and inspections of PV and BESS components.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop commissioning plans and schedules.
• Understanding Project Requirements and completing all duties in respect to completion of Projects.
• Perform functional testing and verification of PV inverters, battery systems, and associated equipment.
• Generate commissioning reports and documentation, including test procedures, checklists, and as-built drawings.
• Provide training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams as needed.
• Coordination with Internal and External stakeholders to achieve the goal.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve commissioning processes and procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commissioning of Solar SCADA or Utilities SCADA systems with Integration of Power Plant Controller & Battery energy storage systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with commissioning tools and equipment, such as power analyzers, insulation testers, and data loggers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certifications such as PV Installation Professional or equivalent are a plus.
