About The Team Responsible for maintaining, deploying and performance analysis for new UI / Services product offering developed internally. Application resides in private cloud windows hosted environments. Must be highly motivated, a strong self-starter and an application engineer with innovative, proven problem-solving skills for complex multi-tiered applications. The individual will interface with the Development organization, Project Managers, Professional Services, Network, Security, & Server OS support teams. What You Will Be Doing Responsible for maintaining, deploying and performance analysis for new UI / Services product offering developed internally. Application resides in private cloud windows hosted environments. Must be highly motivated, a strong self-starter and an application engineer with innovative, proven problem-solving skills for complex multi-tiered applications. The individual will interface with the Development organization, Project Managers, Professional Services, Network, Security, & Server OS support teams. He/she must be able to work under stressful circumstances and maintain composure. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills Position Responsibilities Deployment of Unity and surrounding products on new virtual servers. Work with engineers located locally and overseas Deploying and maintaining Unity in UAT & production, pre-prod and test and performance environments Open technical cases with hardware & software vendors to resolve problems Analytical problem-solving skills for complex multi-tiered applications Ability to trouble shoot through use of wire shark and browser development tools Broad technology knowledge with automation software Diagnostic work to get to root cause of any issues Disaster recovery testing / planning Providing feedback to Development on needed improvements on serviceability Willingness to participate in non-standard working-time models to include Monday - Friday 24 hours/day, Weekends 24 hours/day 4+ years Windows experience 2+ years Oracle and SQL Server Database experience running basic queries to view tables. Self-motivated, self-reliant, ability to work without direct supervision Technologies Supported Knowledge and experience with SQL Server Database technologies Knowledge and experience with RedHat Linux OS Knowledge and experience with IDP / SSO, WAF Experience with following products helpful Octopus - Automation tool to deploy releases, patches etc Sisense - Reporting tool for data analytics (similar to Oracle BI) Decisions - Workflows Informatica - Data load / transformation tool Knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2008, 2016, 2019 Knowledge and experience with IIS, Apache (reverse proxy) Knowledge and experience with Windows security Knowledge and experience with load balanced applications prefer NetScaler What You Will Bring Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment. Installs, maintains and supports application/source code and/or its components and subsystems including third party software. Detects, diagnoses and reports related problems. Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components. Provides technical assistance to programming staff in the analysis of application software amends, performance and resource consumption. Creates and maintains complete documentation relative to the support of application software. Provides twenty-four hour support for applications and supporting software. Provides consultation to internal users with regard to software capabilities and use. Follows escalation procedures, when appropriate, to resolve incidents, problems or known errors in a timely manner. Uses appropriate diagnostic tools to isolate and resolve incidents, problems or known errors. Assists development teams in requirements definition, system design and delivery of projects. Verifies technical specifications for development projects. Acts as project liaison/Services Delivery advocate on projects. Assists client support with development of internal and client directed communications related to incidents, problems or known errors. Plans and supports application specific disaster recovery activities including development and maintenance of documentation. Conducts production support validations/certifications and accepts turnover from development.
