JOB DESCRIPTION PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Job Context: Challenges: 2, DETAILS OF THE JOB: 3, KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Accountabilities Scope Of Work He would also be responsible for conducting pre-feasibility studies for various projects in the pipeline. The person shall be responsible for project cost estimates at the Capex stage as well as cost monitoring during the project implementation phase. The person shall be responsible for demonstrating project performance primarily in terms of variable cost and product quality. The person will also be responsible for providing design/ engineering support for various initiatives proposed by different functions such as Operation, Maintenance, Technical services, Six sigma, EHS etc. The person will work in close coordination with SBU heads and Manufacturing heads to understand business priorities and align resource allocation accordingly The person will coordinate with external consultants and take decisions on outsourcing of assignment to manage cost/ quality and schedule The person will coordinate with various cross functional teams of different sites and understand their requirements to provide timely solution to critical operation bottlenecks The person will coordinate with R&D for scale up of new process developed by R&D. This will also involve piloting Managing and leading the design team in specific business vertical / functional division. Detailed planning and control of design activities Managing design deliverables in line with project plan Monitoring performance and progress of various assignments Final approval of design specifications.
