Resident Engineer (Solar & BESS Project) Gopa TechLocation: West Bengal, IndiaEmployment Type: Full-time / ContractCompensation: 2,00,000 - 3,00,000 per monthExperience: 12+ yearsAbout the RoleGopa Tech, a German financial consulting organization, is hiring a Resident Engineer for a large-scale power infrastructure project in collaboration with West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited.This role involves overseeing the execution of a 100 MW solar park extension along with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), ensuring high-quality construction, compliance, and timely delivery.You will act as the on-ground site leader, managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring seamless coordination across all project components including solar installation, substation, and transmission systems.Project Scope
  • 100 MW (AC) Solar Park Expansion
  • 100 MWh / 25 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
  • Transmission lines and grid connectivity
  • Substation development and integration
Requirements
  • Graduate in Civil Engineering or related field (Masters preferred)
  • 12+ years of experience in energy infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience as Resident Engineer / Site Manager in utility-scale solar or power projects
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary construction supervision teams
  • Exposure to international projects (outside India preferred)
  • Experience in utility-scale solar (PV) projects of similar size and scope
