PURCHASE EXECUTIVE FOR STEEL FABRICATION - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Procurement & Sourcing: Procure raw materials (steel plates, sections, pipes) and fabrication consumables (welding consumables, gases) to meet production schedules.
• Vendor Management: Develop new suppliers, evaluate vendor capabilities, and maintain relationships to secure best-in-class pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Order Processing: Raise, process, and track purchase orders (POs) using ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
• Expediting & Logistics: Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to prevent production shutdowns.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of raw materials and consumables, maintaining minimum/maximum stock to avoid shortages and reduce excess, obsolete stock.
• Cost Management: Negotiate pricing and analyze market trends to minimize procurement costs.
• Documentation & Compliance: Verify invoices against Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and maintain compliance with ISO standards and internal audit requirements.
• Coordination: Collaborate with production, project, and quality assurance teams to ensure materials meet technical specifications.

• Education: Any Graduation
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in procurement, specifically within heavy engineering, steel fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of steel products (steel grades, thicknesses), raw materials, and the ability to read technical drawings.
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables).
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
