- Build end-to-end financial models for initiating coverage; update models for quarterly earnings and corporate events.
- Contribute to initiation notes, earnings notes, sector updates, and thematic research.
- Conduct company and sector-level research by aggregating information from multiple reliable sources.
- Provide data-driven analysis in response to client-specific research requests.
- Build and maintain sector-wide databases for the insurance industry.
- Prepare and update marketing presentations and client deliverables.
- Support wall-cross assignments in line with compliance requirements.
- Leverage tools like FactSet and Bloomberg for data mining, analytics, and insight generation.
- MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or equivalent qualification.
- 2-5 years of equity research experience, ideally in the financials or insurance sector.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and sector analysis.
- Proficiency in FactSet, Bloomberg, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills to produce client-ready deliverables.
