This role involves strong leadership across cross-functional teams, data-backed decision-making, regulatory oversight, and hands-on operational governance of the Forex business. The ideal candidate should possess deep experience in the foreign exchange domain and demonstrate the ability to lead at scale in a fast-paced, regulated environment.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Leadership & Business Expansion● Collaborate with the Stakeholders to define the company's long-term vision and execute short- and medium-term goals.● Identify new business avenues in forex services (retail, B2B, remittance, and travel-related forex).● Play an active role in branch network expansion, channel partner alliances, and digital forex platforms.● Monitor competitive landscape, suggest new product/service enhancements based on industry trends. Operational Oversight● Oversee daily operations of forex branches and digital channels across regions.● Ensure smooth execution of money changing, remittance, prepaid forex card services, and related financial offerings.● Standardize SOPs and implement best practices across all branches and operational units.● Coordinate with cross-functional teams – Sales, Ops, Compliance, Accounts – for seamless execution. Sales & Revenue Targets● Own the Forex division's sales and revenue targets across all branches and channels (B2C, B2B, remittance).● Set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for sales teams.● Track sales funnel conversion, branch productivity, and acquisition/retention KPIs.● Provide regular sales performance reports to the CEO and Board with gap analysis and action plans.● Analyze and implement new strategies for generating business opportunities Regulatory & Compliance Governance● Ensure company-wide adherence to RBI, FEMA, and related regulatory standards.● Monitor KYC/AML processes and ensure timely reporting of transactions to regulators.● Liaise with statutory and internal auditors, and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
