This role plays a critical part in ensuring the optimal functionality of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical equipment, while leading a skilled team to drive continuous improvements and cost-effective maintenance strategies.Responsibilities:Safety and Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols, conduct hazard assessments, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Driving continuous improvement by leading R&D efforts to develop advanced solar technologies and identifying market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Oversee Mechanical Systems:

Develop Maintenance Strategies:

Create and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans to optimize system performance and minimize downtime.

Engineering Excellence:

Lead the evolution of mechanical systems using advanced materials and automation for enhanced performance.

Digital Transformation:

Employ predictive maintenance and real-time monitoring to ensure peak mechanical system performance.

Manage Maintenance Budget:

Oversee the budget for mechanical systems, track costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Lead Team Development:

Guide and mentor mechanical technicians, promote safety, and facilitate ongoing training.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure mechanical systems are well-maintained and integrated with other plant operations.

Prepare Reports:

Track and report on mechanical system performance, maintenance, and compliance.

Qualifications:Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is essential. Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field would be advantageous. Strong academic foundation in civil engineering principles, project management, and construction methodologies is crucial.

Work Experience (Range of years):

Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering and construction within a large-scale industrial environment. Proven track record in managing civil infrastructure projects, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop civil engineering teams.
