Job Description:Software QA Engineering HeadLocation: Trivandrum, Chennai, KochiReports To: Head of Product Engineering Function:Product Engineering RoleSummary:Lead and drive continuous quality engineering and improvement practices across products. Establish automation frameworks, standardize testing practices, and mentor QA engineers to ensure high-quality software engineering outcome.Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a unified testing and quality assurance strategy.

Improve engineering efficiency through automation testing

Lead and own test artifacts, automation frameworks and infrastructure.

Collaborate with DevOps and Support teams on CI/CD.

Hire, coach and manage QA engineers, architects and managers.

Define and ensure adherence to QA policies, procedures, and documentation.

Oversight of test env and production releases.

Drive continuous improvement in QA metrics and team capabilities.

Ensure compliance with US Healthcare regulations.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundation in software engineering and QA methodologies.

Hands-on with latest automation technologies and tools

Prior experience working on Agile methodology

Experience driving QA integration with DevOps enabling continuous releases.

Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Knowledge of healthcare payer domain (preferred).

Experience

10+ years in product QA automation.

5+ years leading large QA functions

Proven experience in DevOps environments with continuous testing.
