This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsMin Experience: 3 yearsLocation: MumbaiJobType: full-timeWe are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure high-quality product releases. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to embed quality across the SDLC.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:

Create, develop, and implement automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications
Develop and sustain scalable test automation frameworks
Work closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and establish test strategies
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and API testing
Embed automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
Detect, document, and monitor defects until resolution
Continuously enhance test coverage, efficiency, and quality assurance processes

Required Skills & Experience:

3 to 8 years of QA experience with a strong emphasis on automation
Expertise with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
Proficient programming abilities in Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, etc.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Good to Have:

Background in performance testing with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Exposure to BDD frameworks including Cucumber and SpecFlow

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months):

Implementation of a robust and scalable automation framework
Expansion of automation coverage and reduction of regression testing time
Flawless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Enhanced early defect detection during the release cycle
