Join the #VTeamLife.What you'll be doing...Responsible for technical platforms design, development, QA and testing automation; partner with business to identify requirements and determine the design of software systems; develop platform design and testing framework to ensure it aligns with business requirements for Data Analytics platforms; build technical pipelines to ingest, load, transform, group, logically join and assemble data ready for data analysis and reporting; build technical pipelines using Cloud or on-premises technologies; develop and build platform using Python, Spark, Jupyter notebook, PySpark, Data Frames, Data Wrangling, Data-Transformations with date, numeric, string and Boolean complexities; develop user defined functions to align with business specifications; develop data platforms using JSON, Parquet, CSV file formats and work with code performance on Big Data projects; develop cloud data transformations with AWS EMR, DynamoDB, Glue, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, KMS, Cloud-Watch, Data Migration Services DMS and Athena; lead strategies/implementations with S3 and AWS partitioning; develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and Unix shell scripting; design/implement QA framework within Data-Lake for testing automation; design and implement test strategies, write test cases, design/implement test automation at scale; design and implement CI/CD pipeline of data and its automation; design and develop scripts to ensure data integrity/quality is maintained from the originating data sources to data lake and downstream systems; responsible for data validations and data quality in cloud and on-premises databases; serve as SME in data development; work on customer data modeling/profiling and across data lake/data pipeline to take data from the source to the consumption layer.What we're looking for...Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer, ETL Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 4 years in developing ETL process, and working with Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, SQL, PL/SQL, PySpark, Spark SQL, Unix Shell scripts, Python, and Amazon AWS systems (including S3, EMR and Athena); and 2 years in building bigdata pipelines.
