This leadership role is crucial to our organization as we reshape the future of commerce.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and manage software engineering teams to deliver high-quality, resilient software solutions that meet or exceed business requirements.Drive the invention, design, and implementation of emerging consumer payment technologies.Work cross-functionally with product teams, other engineering teams, operations, and infrastructure teams to design, develop, and launch global products.Oversee decision-making processes for design trade-offs and long-term architecture planning.Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team, encouraging exploration of new technologies and solutions.Ensure delivery of highly available, enterprise-scale systems, leveraging innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later Technology.Foster opportunities for team members to make a difference on a global or local scale through mentorship and continued learning opportunities.Key Skills & Experience:Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.Strong understanding of software development and a passion for technology.Expertise in one or more general programming languages like Java.Experience building and deploying modern services and web applications with an emphasis on quality and scalability.Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.Excellent collaboration skills with a proven record of partnering with Product, Test, Dev-ops, and Agile/Scrum teams.This is a hybrid position. 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 4 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience.Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhDAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
