As SFMC Consultant, you are responsible to facilitate tactic development through Production Partners and Marketing Managers, and ensuring timelines are met. You will perform art and copy proofing, link validation, and facilitates creative approval process from legal.Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operation of email marketing and automation programs, specifically Salesforce marketing cloud, to optimize programs and initiatives
  • Create and maintain marketing automations, end to end Customer Journeys and Campaign Building using Automation Builder/Journey Builder
  • Facilitate list critical issue with Research and Analytics (R&A), Originator, Marketing Manager and Campaign Analyst to secure resolution and approval
  • Review and validate campaign workflow/process flow for given campaign
  • Validate Audience sheet for the respective tactic/channel/campaign
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure timely launch of the campaignBuild complex campaign journeys, filter entry audience.
  • Build SQL scripts to extract data and use it as an entry audience
  • Creation of base templates and content blocks with personalization
  • Communication with market point of contacts, solution assessment and effort estimation, support internal team
  • Communicate with IBM colleagues and provide support for junior team members
  • Analyse the campaign requirements and suggest the type of DE and logic that needs to be used
  • Understand the database structure to come up with exception handling while amp scripting
  • Develop AMP Scripting for dynamic builds, hide/show blocks
  • Creation of user input form pages
  • Build required automation in Automation Studio whenever required
  • Build error and exception handlers to prevent unhandled risks
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ year of experience in Marketing Automation
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience using AMP scripting
  • Minimum 3+ years of responsive HTML, CSS & JavaScript coding experience
  • Certified Salesforce Marketing Cloud Professional
  • Understand campaign brief and campaign flow - basic and complex campaigns
  • Able to communicate with client representatives to clarify campaign requirements
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication
  • Understand data model and how database works (primary + foreign key, relations)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS code, write and adjusting the code and custom coding
  • Exposure of creating solutions based on campaign requirements
  • At least basics of programming (e.g., cycles, variables, functions)
  • Knowledge of SQL is must
  • Knowledge of JavaScript is plus, preferred AMP Script, Server-Side JavaScript
  • Marketing Cloud knowledge must
  • IT overview - how systems are linked, how data flows, web technologies
  • API and Postman knowledge nice to have
  • Should know building multi-channel journeys
  • Should be well versed in creating and updating data extensions
  • Should be well versed in building cloud pages and microsites
  • Working knowledge of Automation Studio
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant integrations and automations for complex build.
  • Proven experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Good understanding of journey builder in SFMC and creation of relevant performance dashboards

  • Ability to handle change and be open to it good time management and an ability to work under stress
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
  • Experience to document campaign close-out
