- Participate in security incident response activities, as needed.
- Participate in evaluation, investigation, and testing of new technologies with other teams
- Contributes technical knowledge in the identification and reporting on emerging cyber threats and risks to Edge Products
- Coordinate and report on cyber incidents, as required, and make recommendations for mitigation and remediation
- Provides input to the overall architecture, operational governance model of cloud solutions
- Supports analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement
- Consults with project teams to assist in identifying when it is necessary to modify services to accommodate project needs
- Partners with cyber and compliance leadership to help ensure that the Edge products and systems are compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Aids in the development and execution of delivery plans in close coordination with technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve desired timelines and roadmaps
- Contributes to engineering, oversight, governance, and tactical direction related to the cloud Edge services that are required to enable the delivery of IT services
- Contributes input to the overall architecture, operational governance model
- Researches, participates in designs, and tests components that are standards based, high performing, highly available, and secure in delivering the required business functionality within Edge Products and Services
- Assists in the education of internal and external users on the technologies to continually improve the knowledge and skill-base of the organization on how to operate Edge Products and Services
- Participates in the evaluation and selection of Edge products and services
- Contributes to capacity modeling to ensure systems have the necessary space and resources to perform the business strategy and goals.
- Contributes to capability modeling to align systems strategy and planning with business strategy and goals
- Assists in developing test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for assigned projects
- Participates in Peer Design Reviews and Design Thinking sessions.
- Assists in quantitative and qualitative analyses for service design processes and projects.
- Participates with the Service Delivery and Transition teams in planning and coordinating implementation, reviewing quality control of systems functional design, usability, functionality, and implementation.
- Coordinates with appropriate IT and vendor relation teams.
- Supports, implements, and promotes standard configuration and change management, processes and practices
- Follows all defined standards and processes (i.e. IT Governance, SM&G, Architecture, etc.), and provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed
- Maintains a proper balance between business and operational risk
- Follows the defined project management standards and process
- Aids in the development of test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for assigned projects

- 6-8+ years progressive experience in information technology engineering
- 3+ years engineering experience with Edge technology and service platforms, as well as DevOps practices in support of support Edge platforms
- Familiarity with single or multiple CDNs (Akamai, AWS CloudFront, Fastly, Cloudflare)
- Delivery and Security services support
- High level understanding of internet routing concepts and technologies.
- 2+ years experience in Agile delivery, user-centered design, design thinking, heuristic analysis, and Riskiest Assumption Testing methods
- 2+ years experience integrating emerging technology business using both on premise and cloud infrastructure preferably in a large, global business
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to perform independently as a member of a team and through cross functional initiatives.
- Experience in researching emerging technologies and trends, contributing to security standards and implementations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 2+ years experience with DevOps practices and implementing SDLC workflows for delivering updates / modifications for Edge platforms
