The position will focus on providing strategic legal counseling to internal product, operations, and business teams in order to identify and mitigate global legal risk, primarily in connection with Meta's APAC Monetization team. The role will work closely with other legal department subgroups and will require creating and applying legal frameworks to new and innovative products and services. This is a great opportunity to join a growing legal team and to work on novel issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.Associate General Counsel, APAC Monetization ResponsibilitiesAnalyze products, policies and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products with global reachProvide product, engineering, and other business teams with legal advice across many subject areas including data protection laws and regulations, international competition law frameworks, intellectual property laws, marketing laws and regulations, and other global legal frameworksHelp drive consensus and coordinate with public policy, partnerships, compliance, communications and other cross-functional teams on multi-disciplinary issuesWork cross functionally with attorneys from other legal teams such as privacy, regulatory, commercial, and litigationMinimum QualificationsMeta requires all employed attorneys to have a law degree or equivalent certificate to permit the practice of law and be appropriately licensed and authorized to practice law for the company in their assigned work location.
