Make it your story.Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.The work model for the role is: #Li - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the IEC LV Motors business in Bangalore.You will be mainly accountable for:

Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

Utilize 3D modeling and detailing to create special mechanical designs incorporating GD&T and drawing codes and practices.
Prepare BOM in SAP for standard and non-standard motors.
Ensure all designs work to meet company, industry and customer’s technical standards/requirements (i.e. IS, IEC, NEMA, ANSI, IEEE, customer project specifications, etc.).
Perform tolerance and mechanical stress analysis as necessary.
Support mechanical designs for New Product Introductions.
Address manufacturing concerns or questions related to mechanical designs and/or bill of materials.
