Reports to: Cluster HeadJob Summary:The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for supporting the Cluster Head in achieving sales targets, managing relationships with clients and distribution channels, and contributing to the overall growth of the business. This role involves strategic planning, execution of sales initiatives, and day-to-day management of sales activities.Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Strategy and Execution:- Support the Cluster Head in developing and implementing sales strategies.- Assist in analyzing market trends and adjusting strategies as needed.- Work closely with the sales team to ensure targets are met.2. Distribution Channel Management:- Assist in building and maintaining distribution channels (e.g., Property Brokers, Chartered Accountants, Architects, Insurance Brokers, IFAs).- Ensure effective engagement with these channels on a regular basis.- Provide status updates and manage MIS reports for referred leads.3. Client Relationship Management:- Maintain strong relationships with key clients.- Address client concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.- Assist in the development and implementation of client retention strategies.4. Team Support and Collaboration:- Work closely with the Cluster Head in managing and motivating the sales team.- Participate in training sessions to enhance team performance.- Contribute to team building and ideation sessions.5. Product Knowledge and Process Management:- Stay updated on the latest product features and enhancements.- Assist in training the team on product knowledge.- Ensure all stages of the sales process are managed efficiently.6. Revenue Generation:- Contribute to meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets.- Focus on generating revenue from both new acquisitions and existing customers.7. Compliance and Quality Assurance:- Support the Cluster Head in ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.- Maintain high standards of quality in all sales and distribution activities.8. Cross-Selling:- Collaborate with other teams to identify and offer additional products based on customer needs.- Aim to achieve a minimum of 3 PPC (Product per Customer).Skills and Qualifications:- Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality service.Career Growth:- Opportunities for promotion to Cluster Head or other senior positions based on performance.- Access to professional development programs and leadership training.- Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives.
