We had humble beginnings - we spread awareness about eyecare, we took orders for eyeglasses online and shipped them to customers from a warehouse that was the size of a modern-day conference room.As of today, little by little, Lenskart has served 40 Million people across the globe - helping them see better and lead better quality lives. We have 10,000+ Lenskartians worldwide, more than 1500 omnichannel stores across 175 cities in India, Singapore and Dubai and we are shipping a pair of eyewear every 2.5 seconds, from the world's most automated eyewear factory!In 2022, Lenskart partnered with Owndays and took a majority stake in the Japanese-owned eyewear player that has a deep presence in Asia. With this partnership, we have added an additional 400 stores and extended our reach to 13 countries .Main Purpose of Job Role: Reporting to the SCF Head, responsible for managing Supply Chain Cost of Lenskart for 2 factories and dark stores, managing team responsible for day to day finance operationsDriving month end MIS with team, detailed variance analysis along with reviews with SCF Head, SC Head and CFODriving annual Budget and forecast activity with team for SCFReview of contracts for commitment and contingencies disclosure in line with AOP and partnering with the user department to minimize value leakageDevelop an effective operations and production forecasting process, interlinked with a sales forecast, which can be incorporated into the overall Company-wide financial forecastsIdentify / source and execute cost improvement initiatives in the Supply Chain to reduce inefficiencies and waste throughout the value chain. Challenge the status quo and provide fact based insights to improve business performances.Opex and Capex management: Outbound Logistics cost, Packaging and Opex, Capex case Evaluation & capitalizationKeeping control over the BS ledgers and schedule relevant for SCF RP systemsMBA / CA with 7-8 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment setting or FactoryHave a detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control / management systems and ERP.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment.Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under timelines and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt.Possess relevant IT skills in basic MS Office applications - excel & word in particular and a working knowledge or busines
