- Lead end-to-end maintenance activities for bead mills and related equipment, ensuring high operational efficiency and minimal breakdowns.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules tailored to bead mill systems.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in bead mills and take swift corrective actions.
- Monitor equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and implement long-term solutions to improve reliability.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless plant operations.
- Maintain maintenance records, logs, and documentation in line with compliance and audit requirements.
- Optimize spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components for bead mills.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and lean maintenance practices.
- Manage vendor relationships for servicing, spare parts procurement, and technical support.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with bead mills, including installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and process machinery.
- Proficiency in predictive maintenance tools such as vibration analysis, thermography, and condition monitoring.
- Experience in root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability engineering.
- Working knowledge of PLC systems, electrical controls, and automation related to bead mills is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on minimizing downtime and improving efficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 9-15 years of relevant maintenance experience, with significant exposure to bead mills and process equipment.
