A Day in your life at MKS:As a Mechanical Engineering Specialist (Drafter/Designer) at MKS Global Capability Center Bangalore, you will partner with R&D teams across MKS PSD Business Units to generate, maintain, and document mechanical components and assemblies’ models.You will make an impact by:

Sustaining Mechanical Engineering - generate detailed solid models and drawings of components and assemblies, update legacy models and prints. Convert 2D to 3D files.
Reverse engineer components/assemblies and create manufacturing and assembly drawings from scratch.
Complete documentation of designs conforming to MKS documentation standards including detail and assembly drawings, BOMs, design review presentations, and reports
Manage, generate, and implement ECO documentation changes.
Apply best practices for material selection, design trades, and tolerance studies.

Skills You Bring:

2 years’ experience and professional degree, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3D CAD experience with SolidWorks, CREO. PDM experience preferred
Experience supporting mechanical design group in product development and Engineering Change Order processes in a collaborative, cross functional team environment
Working knowledge of drafting standards and GD&T ASME Y14.5
