Roles and Responsibilities: Handling assessments, audits and tax litigations. Coordinate with external consultants and tax authorities with respect to tax assessments and litigations. Handling the appellate matters with support of consultants. Drafting replies to show cause notices, attending personal hearing, representing before the judicial authorities till assessments level. Keeping a track of all appeals and litigation ensuring closure of the same in favor of the company. Research on various critical litigative issues. Preparation, filing and processing of GST refund. Preparation of monthly MIS on litigation matters, GST refunds, Audits, Assessments and Appeals. Advising business on indirect tax implications on various transactions. Leading the changes in system as a result of amendment or decision to take different tax position. Periodic review of tax logics. Ideal candidate: Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years' experience in Indirect Tax Work experience in multinational company or in tax advisory sector Effective communication and social skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership and a strong affinity in tax and accounting proficiencies.
